Quality Control Assurance
NFE management is committed to the corporate Total Quality Management (TQM) program and has a history of strong support for the TQM program. Our established TQM program ensures that all data collected and/or reviewed and all subsequent reports are interpreted and produced by qualified personnel in appropriate scientific and engineering fields and are in compliance with corporate standards. Further, as a prime consultant, NFE is responsible for establishing the QA/QC standards and requirements by which the program will be implemented and ensuring that those standards and requirements are met by our subconsultants and subcontractors
Upholding the rigid commitment to the highest achievable quality, NFE ensures that deliverables (measurement data, reviews, and evaluations) are of the quality required for its intended use. The objective of NFE's TQM program is to provide a controlled foundation for the development, review, and reporting of technical information. Implementation of this policy establishes the integrity of data and ensures that projects meet the client's objectives.
Our TQM approach to project management places greater emphasis and rewards on meeting client service requirements and needs than it does on profits at the expense of quality. Cost Control
The Key to effective cost tracking and cost control is effective delivery order planning and management. The Contract Manager will work with the NFE Technologies Financial officer to ensure that costs remain in line with work effort. The key features of NFE’s cost tracking and cost control system include:
- Use of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to prepare projects and task budget and schedules.
- Measurement of work progress using earned value.
- Analysis of variances and trends for planned performance.
- Preparation and submittal of monthly reports showing budget and schedule status, variations from planned performance, earned values, corrective actions to be undertaken, work completed during the period proceeding planning period, and work planned for the next period.
- Development of management controls for costs, schedules, budgets, and technical performance at the beginning of each project.
- Development of a detailed work breakdown structure (WBS) as part of project work plan.
